Would it be possible for someone to remind me what we live for?

I know some people believe we only live life once, and in some ways this is true, but why do most people in the world live for the luxuries of life.

You see a Lamborghini driving down the road and it is the talk of the town, but quite frankly it is just a car and an ugly one at that. So what is about the price tag that makes us all go ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

A lot of people in this world do not take into consideration that not just one person but countries are starving but we go splashing the cash at a mile a minute on consoles, games, designer clothes and many other things that you could make at better quality and price than you pay.

Take the new disaster for example, the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Donate some of that money you are going to waste on something stupid to the people who have nothing. It is going to take all the help they can get to build their lives back up. Every penny helps.

New Start! New Me! New Shoes!

Happy New Year people. Fingers crossed in the hope that it is better than the last with 17 new years resolutions my hopes are high. I for one started the new year off with a bang by going ice skating with friends and giving myself a rather nasty bruise on my hip due to slip up on the ice, But hey why not make an entrance. It is only fair that we all have our share of bad luck but mine seems to stick with me like glue. ha ha what can I say?

So in aid of my accident I decided to go on a little shopping trip before a long, hard day at work and what better way to treat myself than to a new pair of very high, very beautiful and very hard to walk in heels. Who said that diamonds were a girls best friend when you have shoes? But if you sneaked a peek of my wardrobe you would question why I should need another pair because quite frankly it is heaving to bursting point but to me the satisfaction of knowing I have one more option of footwear when I go out on the town again is just spectacular. No need for boys the love my life and many others, is indeed shoes!

Moving swiftly on I would like to propose a toast. To life, family, friendship and many other things in this expansive universe that can and will put a smile on our faces over the year to come. I wish you all nothing but happiness.

Starting Out

Hi i am Sam for all of you that do not know me. I have no idea why i wanted to start a blog, maybe because i am mad, but here goes. I will probably give you all a completely different impression on here to what i am actually like because i tend to say things without thinking them through but when writing you have a second chance so maybe this is perfect for me. Oh by the way people, if anyone is even reading this ha ha, i am no expert. I make mistakes near enough everyday and i doubt that is going to change anytime soon. But now lets get down to business...
In approximately 23 hours and 51 minutes it is going to be not only the end of another year but also the end of a decade and many people out there are ready to celebrate and wish each other a happy new year, But is this something we should be really looking forward too? the way i see it is that people ramble on about how we are another year older and with every breath we take we are that much closer to the inevitable visit from the grim reaper but really this happens every day so why is the second that splits 11.59pm on the 31st of December and 12.00am on the 1st of January so important? is it because 365 days have passed, or some silly day where we all build up our excitement, count down from 10 and watch fireworks. badabing badaboom and its all over for another year. pointless? i think so. but we like to party and believe we are going to start a fresh and make all these new years resolutions that you know you have absolutely no chance of sticking too. i know i do this.
